METU Computer Center provides MSC University FEA Bundle which consists of several advanced finite element analysis software. The software included in MSC University FEA Bundle are as follows:

- Patran
- Sofy
- Marc
- Mentat
- Dytran
- MD Nastran
- Flightloads 

Marc Mentat ACIS and Fatigue Complete Packageare additional avalilable software which are not in the above bundle.

Because of rapid version upgrades, large data size and number of installation media (DVD/CD)  most requested MSC software is available at ftp://ftp.cc.metu.edu.tr/PackagePrograms/Msc/

To install any of MSC Software on Windows or Linux platforms and have documentation, you can borrow CD/DVD's from CC Software Library (METU CC Room no:109) or download them from licensed software ftp site ftp.cc.metu.edu.tr.

Notice: Users, who would connect to the FTP licensed software site with a browser other than Internet Explorer, shall write ftp://user_name@ftp.cc.metu.edu.tr to the address line. Due to the license agreements that are made, this site is accessible to METU personnel only.

Installation:

All MSC software installations require network licensing:

1700@beluga.cc.metu.edu.tr

should be entered when installation asks for a license sever (beluga.cc.metu.edu.tr is the license server and  1700 is the port number).
