All other default information should be unchanged. 3- If there exists some license server information on the list you can edit or modify it by highlighting that line and clicking "Edit Selected Server Machine" and then enter the above settings (license.cc.metu.edu.tr as server hostname and 1056 as flexlm port number). 4- In case of license problems, copy the ansyslmd.ini file at ftp://ftp.cc.metu.edu.tr/PackagePrograms/Ansys/Ansys13 to the directory "C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing" and replace the existing file. (The local licensing directory and ansyslmd.ini file location may be different depending on your operating system version and installation customization). You may also change the contents of ansyslmd.ini as follows, save the files and re-run Ansys: SERVER=1056@license.cc.metu.edu.tr Note: In case of missing Workbench Toolbox components change Regional and Language Settings from Control Panel to English United States. Changing format and location options to English will be adequate to solve the problem. During setup "products only" option should be chosen. After the installation is finished, the user needs to install a licenser manager software to get license from newer license server software. For this "ansys12licensemanager"directory at ftp://ftp.cc.metu.edu.tr/PackagePrograms/Ansys/ should be downloade. Setup will be started by running setupLM.exe. All steps will be performed by using default settings (click, Next and Continue at all steps) and when the setup asks for a license file this step will be omitted by clicking "Cancel".
